Why Are We Building?
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19–20
When the Lord Jesus gave the Great Commission to His church, He was giving us a mission to carry out, until He returns. As we desire to be obedient to the Lord, we strive to be fully committed to reaching the lost people that are right here in our own mission field.
As the Lord continues to add people to our church, we are in need of newer and larger facilities. Our church has already outgrown the buildings we currently use. Our Sunday School classrooms are fully occupied every week, our current auditorium is consistently filled to its capacity, and our parking lot is full every Sunday.
If we are to see a greater harvest of souls, as the Lord commanded, we need to prepare for an increase in our field. By faith, we will claim our mission field for our Savior, Jesus Christ! Imagine, as we grow, how many more souls could be saved, both here and around the world, as we increase the size of our footprint, through soul winning and global missions.
Will you do your part, and get involved with this great need?
“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” ~ James 2:17
